Spring Break Perot Museum

On Tuesday we went to the Perot. Our friend needed someone to watch her youngest while she went to work. So, Jackson was dropped off at our house at 6am. He is 5 and is the class at my preschool. I might have convinced his mom to put him in that school. He is a great kid. Her older kids were with the youth on their trip to Nauvoo and then the dad and other brother went on a ski trip.

We started out with the sports stuff since that gets super crowded.

They always have special exhibits, which cost a little extra, but this one was legos and we thought it would be worth it. They LOVED it and could've spent all day there.

This was the coolest one. It was a stained glass window, but in legos.

I liked it because I hadn't seen anything like this before.

They had a section of pictures with one item in the picture made of legos, then that item was on display. This was also a cool idea.

We saw a superhero science show, which was very interesting...for adults and kids.

Jackson's mom was working close to downtown where the museum was, so she came by and picked him up and then took him to Medieval Times.

Spring Break Epic Waterpark

On Monday we went to Epic Waterpark with the Neumann's. Aaron didn't work this week, so he was able to join us. I didn't get too many pictures because we were busy playing in the water. It is an indoor waterpark and it is fun! Our friends gave us and the Neumann's passes..score!

We big hit was this flowrider.

This guy is amazing. He has a routine that he does and it is pretty impressive.

Kelsey and Beckett.

Blake totally rocked this!

Cambria hung out at the little kid area with Ledger because she is pregnant! She is due in the beginning of November, so she isn't far along. I am really excited for her. I know they have been praying for awhile to know what to do and I helped her move ALL her baby stuff to her new  house and we had a long chat about it. Anyway, congrats to them!

We left at about 3pm. We want to go back because we had a lot of fun and we love hanging out with the Neumann's.

Spring Break

The first Saturday of Spring Break it rained a lot in the morning, so they canceled games, but once again, it turned out to be a beautiful day.

We met up with Blake's buddies, Kenny and Avir and Ninja Warrior. They love this place.

Then we came home and did yard work. The boys were a great team and brought the mulch over to me and I put it out....they did even help spread it out.

That night we went to the temple with our friends, the Schwarz.

Open House

March 5 was Open House. Aaron was in Arkansas, so he missed out on the fun. After we went to school, I found Dylan like this.

Mrs. Taylor had great things to say about Dylan. He is doing great academically and socially.

Then we headed over to Blake's classes.

His teachers had great things to say about him. Mr. Carroll loves him and has been the best teacher for him so far. His ELAR teacher is awesome too and really pushes him.

I could've bought their art for $25, but well, I wait until the end of the year and get it for free...minus the frame.

North Texas Winter

Aaron loves it when I talk weather so here we go. This was Monday, March 4. I took the boys to school and this is what the car said. The real feel was less then this. It was about this point that I was completely over winter. Our first deep freeze was in October, so this winter has been long. We had very little ice this year, but it was cold for a longer time this year. It was too cold for soccer practice that night because I thankfully live in a place where a bunch of other wimps are and when it is in the teens, then we don't have practice or recess.

Soccer Game

March 2 was finally our first soccer game...but it was cold and rainy. Dylan played well and the team won. Earlier in the day we did the Home Depot project.
