Gifts

Here are all the goodies. I got a lot of gift cards too. Such nice parents. Now I have 3 weeks off until the boys are out of school and then I go back to school the same day that the boys go back.

The boys told me after (because there was also some more bundt cakes that I got) that they liked my job because of these goodies.

Pack Meeting

Thursday night was pack meeting. They put on a carnival on. Blake had his own game that he had to do.

They also did a cub go carts. They built this and then got to test them out.

More Goodies

This was my last week for preschool teaching for this school year. I got so many gifts. They are so generous and so kind with what they said. I'm going to miss those kids, well, most of them.

Isn't his orchid beautiful?  Blake said, is that real because you will kill it fast. It is true, I am not good with plants, but we will enjoy it while we can.

Then I got some cupcakes from Sprinkles. This made the boys happy.

Mother's Day

The boys made some fun gifts for Mother's Day and they were so proud of  them, but I didn't take many pictures. I love this bag that Blake made. It makes me laugh,

This was what was inside because I did open the bag.

Dylan made a pinch pot which was really cool.

Aaron got me a cardigan and some new socks--the no show ones.

They made me breakfast and dinner and Blake organized his room.

I did have to teach Gospel Doctrine that day, but that's fine.

Hope all the moms had a wonderful day!

Creative Kids

The Saturday before we did our dates with our kids. The boys call these "island adventures". Dylan picked to go running with me and Blake wanted to go to Subway with Aaron. Dylan did great at running--he ran 1.5 miles before he wanted to rest. Blake now eats as much as Aaron. It is crazy and also scary--he eats a lot.

The boys put this train together, which was super fun. They can be so creative.

That day we went swimming and yard work and I made bread.

Work has been busy because we were getting to the end of school and there is so much to do. I did sign my contract for next year. I will be teaching the 4 year olds 3 days a week. This year  I taught the 2 year olds 4 days a week. I'm hoping the extra day off will help me get everything done. I met the teacher that i will be with and she seems great.

Go Ape

May 11. Aaron took the day off and I have Friday's off so we did Go Ape. This was my Christmas present. It was really pretty and the weather was perfect. It is a ropes  course and zip line. They showed us how to do everything and then we were on our own--it was kind of crazy, but it was fun. It was such a workout, but so much fun. We met some fun people too.

They had a tarzan swing. It was a lot of fun. You jump off a platform and just swing into the net. It was my favorite.

We went to lunch and then got the boys from school. Super fun day, but we were pretty tired.

Cinco de Mayo

Dylan had his last soccer game. It was close, but they won.

We got home and the boys went swimming. The weather has changed and we are in summer. The water was warm enough for them, but not for me. I went in the following week.

For dinner we went over to the Neumann's for a cinco de mayo dinner. It was fun.

Lunch with Dylan

Friday, May  4. I ran my errands in the morning and then and ate lunch with Dylan. We couldn't go the same day that we ate with Blake because Dylan was on a field trip that day. So he ate McDonald's. Then right after lunch, I helped in his classroom.

Goodies

Aaron was in Boston for the week and I came home from work one day and I found this on our porch. I was on the yearbook committee--there were 4 of us that helped.

So we all shared it when the boys got home.

Then one of the girls in class brought me some cookies--aren't they cute? The boys were very happy!

Soccer Game

That next week was busy. The boys started track practice. They practice 2 nights a week. The boys get to practice together so it is nice for them.

I also went out to dinner with some ladies in our ward because it was my friend, Cambria's birthday, so it was a perfect excuse for a GNO.

Friday the kids had the day off of school so Dylan did his scan and his bloodwork. Later that night we had the EQ presidency over for dessert. They were all released with the changes to EQ. It was nice to have everyone over.

Saturday Dylan had his game. It was a fun game.
