Homer visits Snakey

Yesterday we had an unusual surprise when a special guest dropped by the house; none other than the star of the longest running sitcom (celebrating 20 years this year) decided he wanted to visit. Not only did he pose for a couple of pictures but he brought along his adorable garden snake to show off to us as well.



We looked long and hard to find a snake costume (store after store) but to no avail. So, Michelle ended up making what you see here. (Not too bad huh?) We will have to teach him that snakes don't have claws--but what do you think, pretty menacing huh?






Every year at work we get together and decide as a group who we want to dress up as for Halloween. This year after much debating "we" decided that this year we would be the Simpsons. I think it was a great decision--what do you think?

    blake is SO cute!!!! great job on the sewing job!!!!!!! i cant believe you made that!!!! and aaron... lol... at first i thought.. whoa.. he's lost some hair.... and then i thought.. oh.. its a costume... but who in the heck is he supposed to be?... and THEN i thought.... who is this celebrity that stopped by? did someone famous really stop by their house???.... lol.. ANYway.... good costume... homer.
