Thursday morning it rained again. The whole time my parents were here, it rained a lot. We did get some breaks. They actually came at a good time because now we are in 90 degree weather.
So, Grandpa and Dylan played some golf inside. Then we went to the library.
Then we surprised Blake at school with lunch. While we were walking out of school we saw an ambulance and a fire truck. Turns out it was Blake's teacher....we didn't see her in there, but we eventually figured it out...after texting her. Her blood pressure spiked. She is on medication and monitors. She only came back to school for the last day for about 20 minutes to say good bye to the kids. So sad. We hope she feels better soon.
After lunch, we went to the park...since it wasn't raining anymore.
Since Aaron was still out of town, my parents watched the boys so that I could go to pack meeting without them. This was my first time doing all the awards and I had to give out the awards for the other ward since their committee chair was in Europe. We had every rank advancement, a couple arrow of lights and a couple crossovers. Lots to do..boys have been working hard.
The theme was on animals, so Aaron got Dylan (a YM that he home teaches) to bring his corn snake. The boys loved it.
Our cubmaster got her neighbor to bring her bearded dragon. Also a huge hit. Cool reptiles + boys= super fun. Most of the moms in the audience weren't as excited about it.
Aaron got home late that night.
