Last Thursday morning it poured rain. Blake was scheduled to run in his school's fundraiser at 9:15am outside. Well, the rain stopped and they rain as planned. It was perfect weather for the run. Previous years it was super hot.
Because previous years were so hot and it had been hot in the days leading up to the race, the school gave them water bottles to run with. They didn't need them.
Blake did an awesome job! We have found his talent (or one of them).
His buddies in his class...Kenny and Braxton. Blake is not a short person. In fact he is super tall, but Braxton is a giant. I keep asking Blake if he isn't in 5th grade.
Grandma and Grandpa came too to support Blake.
After every lap you got a mark on your shirt, so Kenny was counting Blake's.
