Saturday morning while Aaron and I were doing yard work, the boys made a fort.
After lunch we went to the library. We go at least once a week, but it was the first time Aaron has seen the remodel. He has been missing out.
The boys completed the summer reading program, but they didn't get a prize like they typically hand out because businesses are just trying to stay afloat. One of the prizes they usually get is a snow cone, so I told them that when we finished a particular book then we could go get a snow cone. We finished on Friday, so Saturday we went. It was a hot day so it was perfect.
Then we had the Neumann's over to swim and eat. Aaron smoked some brisket and it was tasty. This time he made some burnt ends. Um, they were really good. Rowan is 9 months, almost 10 months old and that kid loved the brisket and the baked potatoes (he ate 2) and the fruit and the.....you get the idea. We always have fun with them!
