Sunday we went to church. Blake and Dylan went in Keagan's class, which Keagan totally enjoyed. We hung out that day and talked.
Monday morning we left around 4am..it was 5 degrees when we left, then it was 3 when we got on the freeway and then about 15 minutes later I thought to take a picture...blurry one, but it was 7 degrees. Oh, it was cold. It wasn't fun packing up the car in that cold. It took us 12 hours to get home, even with weather in Kansas. We were happy to be home--that drive was long, but the kids did pretty good. We had such a fun time in CO visiting with Grandma & Grandpa and the Huntley family. The kids had a lot of fun with cousins. It's always nice when your kids actually know their cousins. Thanks to Amy and Gregg for putting up with us and playing with us.
Side note: Christmas day in Texas it was 76 degrees. The very next day 2 tornados hit--both were about 45 minutes away. Luckily we had no damage...we just got a ton of rain..according to our friends. By the time we got back, it had all cleared up...although it wasn't in the 70s, but now in the 40s, but still better than 7 degrees.
