One of Dylan's other favorite friends is Max. I've talked with Max when I helped out at school and he is a nice kid. This summer he wanted to play with Jake and Max. Max's mom texted me in the middle of July and invited Dylan to Max's birthday party. The catch was that it was only family members, but Max was begging his mom to invite Dylan. We had plans to leave for Houston, but knew Dylan would love to go, so we had him go. His mom was so thrilled and they decided to keep it a secret from Max that Dylan was coming. We arranged it so that Dylan would come over earlier to play with just Max before the party started. His sister was outside and went inside to get Max. We came to the door and Max's face just lit up...he was so excited...it was very cute. He stayed at their house from 1-7pm. I came to pick him up while they were opening presents and got his picture. His mom sent me pictures throughout the day. When I picked him up, there were about 20 family members there and they were all so sweet and so happy that Dylan could come. Apparently the 2 of them hung out the whole time and had the best time. There was a water slide, pinata, games and food. Happy Birthday Max...he is now 7!
