May 19--The boys' school had to give all their school supplies back to the kids so they divided them by alphabet to come by in the car, pop open the trunk and they would throw a bag full of their stuff in the back of your car.
This is Blake's certificate of completion for the 5th grade.
When we got home, it was like Christmas. It was kind of sad because they got all their art projects, but some weren't finished because well, we were supposed to have 2 1/2 months more of school to finish them.
But their teachers all put notes in their too. They are so sweet.
Then we drove to their dentist appointment. We saw this on our drive..the boys freaked out.
Their dentist is a friend of ours from our church. Super sad because he is going through a divorce. It was all going down right before things shut down, so we haven't talked to him about it. In our RS presidency meetings we talk about her, but Aaron and I are better friends with him so it made the meetings a little weird for me. Anyway, so the boys went back and got their teeth cleaned while he and I talked...for like 20 minutes. Then he did his dentist stuff. He told both of them--no cavities and that they have done a great job with brushing and flossing. That was awesome. But I was still sad for him and his family. About a week after this, we found out another friend is getting a divorce and he is leaving the church. Aaron is really good friends with him and we have their family over a lot. This is such a hard time. It is so sad. I just think we are going to (well, we already are seeing that we do) have some major mental health issues in our world.
That night the boys really wanted to camp, so we set everything up.
But it was super hot and Bake's allergies were really bad, so it didn't work out that night.
