15 Months

Blake turned 15 months old last week. He loves Aaron's razor and he found Aaron's old razor and immediately put it up to his face and started to "shave".

He has to monitor what is going on the kitchen, so he was "helping" me cook the other day and found the zucchini bread and decided to help himself.

We have been going to the pool a lot lately. One day after the pool we came home to water the plants and of course, Blake had to do it.

This is what happens all day...everyday! When Blake is bored, he will put on his shoes and say all done and bye-bye and open the door. Don't you just love his little flip flops?

Double the fun

We went over to visit our friends last week and their cute twins, who are just a couple of weeks old. Here are the happy (possibly a little tired) parents with Elle. Thanks for having us over!

And here is the other midget, Michael with the newlyweds Jen and Spencer.

Sleeping like a baby?

Ok, so what's the point? You buy a crib large enough so he doesn't have to be cramped and what does he do? Incredible. Next time, just buy the extra small one cause he's just going to curl up in the corner anyway. At least his foot is getting some much needed fresh air and space.

Day at the zoo

So it was zoo time again this week. We headed up the road to the Orange County zoo. Blake really likes two animals right now--dogs and birds. So, the entire day every animal we saw was either a "Da" or a "Bir". At least the coyotes are in the same family tree.

They have a little petting area with a lot of goats. Blake even got to do a little brushing himself.

We were over by the bunnies when a deer came walking along. Bambi wasn't as accommodating to the petting as the goats were.

A man after his father. :) Blake met this little girl and she couldn't keep her hands off of him. This innocent love blossomed right by the raccoon den. Coons, is there anything they can't do?

Blake's love of all cleaning doesn't just stop at our house. Right as we arrived to the petting area, the worker there was just finishing straightening up. Apparently, Blake didn't think she did a good enough job. :)

After getting our fill of enough live animals, we headed over to the park and Blake wanted to see if he could last 8 seconds on the wild plastic horse. Yee-haw!
