Cub Scout Hike

Today I was asked to help with the Webelos cub scout 3 mile hike. Caleb and Blake and I were out in front.

Dylan came too.

These 2 boys did great. Blake was wondering why we didn't just run it. Hmmm...he is totally my kid.

Soccer Game

This last week we did lots of yard work because we finally have nice weather. I am convinced that we have our spring break a week too early. We are now enjoying 70 degree weather and with still cooler nights.

Saturday Dylan had a game. It rained in the morning, like a lot, but by 3pm it was dry enough to play. Dylan has become more aggressive. I hope he continues to improve. He had a really great game. He missed to goals, but had 1 assist.

Spring Break Crystal Bridges and Drive Home

Saturday morning we hung out and talked while the kids played (poor Alexa)...then we headed over to Crystal Bridges, which is a free art museum, thanks to Alice Walton.

The kids made their own art. Pretty sure each of them will be famous one day.

The museum is huge.

Apparently there is some rather expensive art pieces there.

I asked a worker which one was the most expensive and she thought it was this piece.

We ate some lunch and then we headed for the trails.

Look there is Amy. I realized when I got home that I didn't get any pictures with Amy and Gregg in them. My bad. We will have to see them again soon to make up for it huh?

Arkansas--okay, NW Arkansas is pretty and I'm guessing is really pretty in spring and fall.

Then we headed over to a park to play.

We went back to the house, packed up, ate some food, then headed home. I had to teach gospel doctrine the next day and we needed to get ready for school.

We had such a fun trip. We all enjoyed seeing everyone. Thanks Adam and Becki for hosting!

Spring Break Museum Day

Friday Adam took the day off  and the girls didn't go to school so that we could all play. Thanks guys!!

First stop was the Walmart Museum. I am a walmart fan. After going through the museum I am an even bigger fan. Sam was really a great person. He had his kids working in the store at a young age and he taught them to give back. The city of Bentonville is really pretty because of that family. I like that there are still good people in our world.

These items were in the hall of fame for favorite returned items.

At the end you can get some ice cream. Becki bought all the kids some ice cream. Score big points! It took me a bit longer to get through the museum (which is free by the way) then the kids and Becki has done the museum like 7 (or 70) times, so she kind of herded the kids.

We ate some lunch, then headed over to the children's museum. It was a really fun museum. We want to go back!

They had a room out with lots of boxes. Um, why have I never seen this before? It is brilliant.

The King and Queen.

This Sam kid is hilarious.

I'm excited to eat anything Zoey will make for me because um, hello..do you see..she even puts a pitcher in the food. Brilliant!

The adults can have fun too. They played a huge version of jenga. Is this the intention of this? No.

It did eventually come tumbling down.

Then we headed back to the house and the Frake's came over. This is Adam's friend from when they were kids....now they work together (well, same company) and live close to one another. Then Adam and Aaron went to the airport to pick up Amy and Gregg. It was kind of late, so the kids didn't get to talk much with them.
