Is this normal?

Monday night we came home from our walk to find our carpet downstairs really wet. Aaron went outside and discovered water gushing out from under our house, which we didn't think was normal. It ended up being the main line that comes into the house, which meant that about 15 other houses had to have their water shut off as well. At first the plumbers thought it was a slab leak and would have to drill our cement floors out in our living room. Good thing that didn't have to happen. Now we are just missing a wall and a patio...and have noisy fans. What's the next adventure going to be?

  1. i'd have to say . . . not normal. so what the heck caused that??? i hate home repairs. just had some guy come out the other day to put in a new capacitor on my AC unit--its a 20 dollar peice that you unscrew, disconnect, and put the new one in. very simple. cost? over 200 bones. that's insanity. next time, I'm going to buy the piece over the internet and do it myself.
