Six Flags

It certainly isn't Disneyland, but it was free. Aaron's company paid for all the employees and their families to go to Six Flags. They were giving balloons out to the kids, so one lady asked me about Dylan...so, is he 2 or 3 years old? Um, he isn't even 2 yet. It works great sometime having a super tall kid because they get to go on all the rides.

For those of you who have been to California Adventure know what the Mickey Ferris Wheel, know that it is actually a pretty crazy ride. My mistake, I took them on it once and they hated it. Perfect, Six Flags has a kid version that is slow and doesn't go super high. We went on it and they did great.

Wouldn't you know it, their favorite ride it the truck ride. As a side note, Blake was the spotlight this week in preschool. He was super excited because he got to wear the fireman jacket on "his" day and because he got to take some of his favorite things to school.

We did a couple more rides. We even did a kid roller coaster. I think Dylan enjoyed it more then Blake, but Dylan is more of our fearless kid. We got home pretty late, but it was fun to go to an amusement park because it has been a couple months since we last went (gasp!). It was also fantastic that we didn't have to pay, we got money for dinner and dippin' dots, and LOTS of drinks and chips....Pepsi and Frito-Lay products of course.
Six Flags is about an hour from our house and wow, the weather was nice at our house and then hot and humid when we got to the park. Note to self...don't live by Six Flags. At least it wasn't in the 40s like it was for the BYU football game huh?
