Christmas Decorations

November 29--Now that Thanksgiving is over, Christmas decorations can go up. We couldn't do outside because it is raining. But this wreath was made by my co-teacher, Lya. She gave it to me for my birthday. I love it!

Tonight we are going to over to Aaron's cousins house for leftover pie night.

Happy Thanksgiving

We had the Schwarz family over for Thanksgiving. We played games and ate yummy food and had good conversations. We love the Schwarz family.

Adam brought over his Nintendo so we could play some old school games.

This is Dylan's placemat--I like how he almost kept pizza as number 1.

Then we went over to the Brock's house for pie.

Basketball

November 27--We met up with the Campbell's to play basketball and kickball at church. We played for 2 1/2 hours--it was lots of fun!

Top Golf

November 26--we went to Top Golf because it was half off that day.

Then we went over to the stores and then went home.

After lunch we went to the park because it was another nice day!

Oak Point

November 25--We all had the whole week off, so on Monday we went to Oak Point for a hike. It was a beautiful day. This is the start of our hike and about 2 minutes later the jackets came off--it was high of 77.

We hiked for 1 1/2 hours, then we went to Torchy's. They both liked it....yep, it is a yummy place.

Happy Birthday to Me

November 24-Happy Birthday! The boys made crepes for breakfast, then we opened some gifts before church.

Aaron got me a new stun gun.

And some warm socks.

And a new dress.

My brother David got me a new dress

and a new lunch bag.

My brother Robert got me a new running belt.

My grandma sent me some money.

My parents gave me their present when they were here. I got a really pretty necklace and scarf  (made from Alpaca) from their trip to Peru, and a jacket.

Amy and Gregg painted my kitchen for me.

The boys made a yummy chicken dinner for me and then we made a pizzokie for dessert because well, it is amazing.

Maci's Baptism

November 23--We went to Maci's baptism. What would you do if you should up for your daughter's baptism and the font wasn't filled? Yep, that's what happened to Megan (Maci's mom). So, they turned it on to start filling it up, but it was slow, so everyone was filling up buckets and they even brought a hose in from outside to fill it up. She said it wasn't cold water so I guess it turned out okay.

Last Pack Meeting EVER

November 21--this was our last pack meeting and last anything scouts. Dylan got an award. This kid has unofficially been in scouts for so long, so it was kind of fun that they decided to give him an award.

These 3 boys got their Super Nova. This is a tough award to do. There is a lot to do for it and then you have to do a big write up on it, then submit it  to council where a committee approves it.

This is what the award looks like.

As much work as Boy Scouts was, it is a little weird to be done with it. Big thanks to all those who helped!

After watching the Face to Face that kind of explained the new primary activity program, Blake was really excited and said he was done with scouts. I think it will be a great program.

After pack meeting, I was off to a stake meeting. LOTS of meetings recently.

Neumann's Come Over

November 18--I was finally able to go over to Cambria's to help out. I played with Ledger for a little bit and then held Rowan while Cambria got some stuff done. Basically it was an excuse to go hang out with my friend and snuggle with a cute new baby.

Oh, we kind of lucked out. We started basketball and  the boys have practice back to back. It makes for a long Monday night, but it is so great to have one night of practice instead of 2. Both their coaches seem great.

November 19--I took Ledger home with me from preschool because he is in the class next door to mine. Then we got Beckett and the boys from school and we all came back to our house and played. It was a beautiful day.

But then I saw this...an asp. This was new to us, but the teachers told the boys about this poisonous insect here in Texas. They are so ugly...no offense Mr. Asp.

Brain Flakes

Brain flakes are a really cool toy. I highly recommend them. The boys created this....a mountain with a bridge. There is a lot to it.

Dylan's Birthday Party

November 15--For Dylan's birthday party this year he invited his 3 best buddies--Caleb, Max and Jake over  to watch Angry Birds 2, eat pizza and open presents. They had  the best time!

Aaron had to take off early from the party to go on a Youth Baptism trip. This is how we roll when we read scriptures...all comfy under a blanket.

My Early Birthday Dinner

My parents went to Louisiana for a couple of days. Amy and Gregg painted my kitchen--Happy Birthday to me! They left on Tuesday and then my parents got back on Thursday. On Friday night we went to dinner at Babe's for an early birthday for me, since my parents wouldn't be here for my birthday. Babe's is so yummy.

Saturday I took them to the airport and then went to a training where Sister Alberto spoke. She is fantastic in person--she is super funny.

Dylan's Baptism and Blake's Arrow of Light

November 1--In the morning we went and did the Home Depot project. We came home and finished the goodies for the baptism.

Then we headed to the stake center for the baptism.

After the baptism we had some yummy treats. My mom helped a lot with these treats. Thank you!!

Look how fun these mummies are.

Dylan's best friend Caleb came, along with his family. His parents postponed their anniversary trip so that they could all come to the baptism. They are such a nice family.

This makes me laugh. Dylan and Beckett..they are hiding their goodies behind their backs.

The Stott's came.

Jon and Cindy came too--it was an hour drive for them.

Before the baptism, we had hamburgers with the Stott's and Cindy and Jon.

Kelli, the sweet Primary President, came early to fill the font.

The Kenney's are in our ward. The mom, Whitney, and my brother James, served a mission together.

The de la Houssaye's came. Megan, their mom, was our chorister.

The Schwarz family came too, but had to take off after to watch the Utah game...it was about a 30 minutes drive home for them. Jess played the piano for us.

Thanks to everyone who came (we didn't get pictures with everyone..we had almost all his scout leaders, and our Relief Society President came too....and lots of others to be in the confirmation circle.)

Then we came home and changed, then we went to church for Blake and Caleb to get their Arrow of Light.

It was awesome. So much work these boys put into earning this award.

We then went to dinner because I was kind of done for the day.

What an exciting day though and we were so glad we had both sets of Grandparents there!
