Dylan's Birthday

October 28 was Dylan's birthday. He wanted to open presents before Blake had school. Dylan didn't have school because it was Friday.

He got a Superman watch.

A lego set.

And a magic set. He is really into magic. We get a new magic book each time we go to the library.

He got money from Great Grandma. He got money from Grandma and Grandpa Johnson too!

We had the master shower remodeled and they finished that morning. Once they were done, Grandma and Grandpa came over and we went to Toys R Us for Dylan to pick out his present.

Then we went to McDonald's and took it to Blake's school for lunch.

Dylan is showing off his new cool watch.

This is one of the presents from Grandma and Grandpa. The other was a Mr. Freeze Imaginext. He was in heaven.

His buddy Beckett gave him Cyborg Imaginext when we got Blake from school. Such a cool toy and so nice of his friend. These 2 love the same toys so we had Beckett over a couple days later to play with the play.

After school we went to Obstacle Warrior Kids. It is just like the tv show Ninja warriors with obstacle courses. Super fun and perfect for my boys who love to climb and need to get energy out.

This ramp is loved by my boys.

At first Blake needed help, but then he could do it by himself.

Aaron did the big ramp.

Dylan rocked the obstacle course. He has no fear and he is strong so it is a great combo for mastering the course....now he just needs to grow a foot so he can get this rope. His feet are too small to lock around the rope.

The boys played dodgeball.

Grandpa even got in on it.

After working up an appetite, we ate at Hutchins. What a fun day! Happy birthday Dylan! 5 years old!

Dylan's Birthday Celebration at School

Thursday, October 27, my folks came with me to take some cupcakes  to Dylan's class for his birthday.

The spiders were a big hit for both boys and girls.

Later that night Dylan had his end of the season soccer party where they got their medals. 2 of the kids were missing.

Dylan's Fall Festival

October 26 was Dylan's fall festival at his school. They had a parade first. Dylan was a red ninja.

His caterpillars class.

My favorite costume...although I was pretty sure the kid had never seen ET.

I volunteered to help out with the games for 3 hours. Each class had 15 minutes in each room, so I got to see a lot of kiddos.

Like this  friend from church, Khloe.

and this kid. He was too hot to wear his costume at this point.

His friend Liam.

After school, Grandpa came over to get some help from the boys in making the legs on their stool shorter.

Halloween Cards

Great Grandma (Aka Grandma Holm) sent the boys a Halloween card and some money. They were so excited!

Day Off of School Trip to Perot Museum

I'm really behind, so let's try to catch up.

October 24--Blake didn't have school because it was parent teacher conference, so I signed up for the very first time. The boys had spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa's the night before so they were still there when I went to meet with Ms. Brewer. She loves Blake. Says that he gets along with everyone so he is the one kid that she can sit next to anyone and not have to worry. He is awesome in Math (scored 100% on the District Math test), but needs to work on spelling. She said so many kids struggle with spelling...I told her it isn't just kiddos who can't spell.

After the conference I went and picked everyone up and we drove to the Perot Museum. It was only our school district who had the day off, so the museum was not busy at all.

They were even weather forecast guys.

While Blake was at Grandma's the night before, he lost his tooth. The tooth fairy was still able to find him. This kid won't pull on his wiggly teeth at all, so it will dangle until it falls out. So, the adult tooth behind it is already coming in.
