Next Boy Band?

Are they the next boy band? I love their imagination.

Aqua Park

On Saturday, we went to an aqua park about 30 minute from our house. Aaron found it on Groupon and it ended up being pretty cool. It was in a lake, so it was nasty, which we aren't used to. It was also a very good workout, but it was fun.

They loved sliding on these mats....or, aqua glides is what I think they are called.

They also had this cool wake boarding park..maybe next time.

Dylan owned these monkey bars....he did them several times, but towards the end of our turn (we had 2 hours at this place), the monkey bars took off some skin on his palm, so we left a little early and we got him all disinfected and wrapped up at the first aid station.

This was another favorite. Aaron would launch them into the water. I have them on video. There was one mom who launched her daughter really  high--she did a couple of flips and then landed face first in the water--they left after that.

What a fun day!!

Bowling and Slurpees

July 11--we took advantage of the kids bowl free time.

They had  fun and bowled 2 games.

Then we went to 7-eleven because it was free slurpee day, so here is slurpee #1.

Then after dinner we went with Aaron and got slurpee #2. Love this day!

This is Dylan at night. After we read scriptures, prayer, etc, he goes in his bed and reads some more.

Campbells Over for a Swim

The Campbell's just had baby #5, so all of  them came over and we swam. Their oldest boy, Caleb, is the same age as Blake. They are such good kids. They go to different elementary schools, but they will go to the same middle school--assuming they don't move!

Pool with De la Houssaye's

Tuesday we went to the pool with the de la Houssaye's. She is having baby #4 (girl!) on the 25th so we needed to get together again. We had fun. We played at the pool for 3 hours, then played at their house for an hour.

Then we came home and had our trees trimmed.

A lot. Man, they were overgrown. One neighbor decided to use the same guys and then our other neighbors had their trees trimmed the next day so between our 3 houses there was a huge difference.

Epic Waters

July 5--We had some passes to Epic and since Aaron had the day off, we went. I didn't get many pictures because we were busy in the water where I didn't have my phone.

Blake went on all the big rides. He really likes them.

Dylan did most of them too, but his favorite is the lazy river and the wave pool.

And eating some snacks.

After the fun we stopped at Costa Vida, which is a Cafe Rio wannabe. It is pretty good...not Cafe Rio, but we take what we can get.

4th of July

After breakfast the boys helped Aaron work on the media room. That was quit the project.

Grandma and Gramps bought the boys these toys while they were here, which they love.

We swam and had a BBQ, then did our poppers.

Then met up with the Neumann's and Campbell's for our city's firework show. They have everyone park on the soccer fields, which we did last year, but it was crazy getting out of that place, so this year we went to a middle school across the street. The kids had a field to play on and we had a great view. We got out really quick too. The only bummer was we couldn't hear the music. We are planning on going to the same spot next year, so we will have to remember music.

Beckett, Dylan and Blake.

We had so much fun! Hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July. God bless America!
