As mentioned, Blake wanted to make some cookies for some neighbors for Valentine's Day. Our neighbors loved them and we liked making them and then sampling them before delivering them. We ended up spending about an hour at one neighbors house who has a 5 year old girl and 4 year boy. They are the only young kids in our neighborhood except our boys and they are right around the corner. The kids get along great.
Yesterday while I was dropping off Blake at preschool, I get a call from the dad of the 2 kids who says he has a ton of extra fruit and asked if he could bring it over. Um....yes please!
Dylan immediately grabbed the strawberries and went to town. The funny thing was I was going to Sprout's (fantastic place to buy produce) after taking Blake to preschool, so that trip was cancelled because we scored some free yummy produce.
