Heard Museum

The kids were bugging me for awhile to go on another hike, so last Friday, we went to the museum and went on a hike.

Blake made a checklist of all the things that we saw.

Some wildflowers are really pretty.

This was at the "top" (remember we are in Texas...we don't have mountains), but it was a great spot to see birds. We probably wouldn't seen even more birds if the kids were quiet but that is asking too much.

This oak tree is 250 years old. It is really amazing to look at...it is huge.






As usual, the kids had a fun time. Each time something different fascinates them. This trip, they were fascinated by the worker cleaning out the capybara's bath.
