Trip to Arkansas Day 2

July 2-The kids played and continued making their famous movie in the morning, so we had an early lunch and then headed over to the battlefield in Pea Ridge. It was so hot that day so we were pretty happy that we were able to drive from site to site.

It was pretty cool and interesting. I didn't know much about this battle so it was fun to learn about it and Blake studied the Civil War this year and he had heard about this war, so he was really excited to see it.

Then we headed over to this place to get some soft serve ice cream. When I say some I mean a lot. It was getting too soft because of the heat so the had to put ours in a cone so I could't get a picture, but they were huge folks. We got a size small and it was 12 inches...maybe more. It was a classy place that we went to. Becki said she felt over dressed because well, apparently shoes are optional in that part of town. Unique place, but good eats.

Then the kids presented one of their videos. They were so proud.
