Trip to CA Day 7

Monday we went to Legoland again, but we had Seth and Kaleb with us. It was busier Monday than it was the previous Friday.

The boys drove their cars.

We flew.

Did the boat ride.

We convinced Dylan to do a roller coaster again. He did it and he liked it.

He was the only one who wanted to do this ride.

So he enjoyed his fan club that was waving to him.

I took these kids on another roller coaster, but Dylan didn't want to go again.

Then we went to the water park. 2 pictures...that's all I took because I was in the water. It had been a long time since we went to a water park. The boys have never been. We do splash pads a lot. Dylan was a little hesitant for the big water rides, but he found plenty that he enjoyed.

Kaleb took Dylan in a tube and Seth took Blake in a tube around the lazy river....they switched buddies a couple times too.

It was great that we went to the water park this day because the main park was crowded. We had a lot of fun at the water park.

Can't see them all that well, but this is out heading out to go get dinner at In-n-Out. We really enjoyed Legoland. It was totally worth the price. We are glad we were able to go 2 days.

Trip to CA Day 6

Sunday morning we went to church. It was fun to see a bunch of people. Blake whispered to me, "Mom, who are these people? They are all saying hi and I don't remember any of them."

After church, we had lunch and then went on a walk to the park to get out some energy.

Dylan stayed in the room with the exercise equipment, which he enjoyed using.

Later that afternoon, the whole family came over. James took a lot of great pictures, which I will eventually post.

Here are the boys playing. It was fantastic...they got along so well.

Seth had some app where they danced to songs and the app made it silly. They loved it.

Robert and Sarah with the boys. Sarah got a promotion so they are selling their place and moving...about 30 minutes away.

Gramps with his grandkids doing the shaka.

Grandpa with the grandkids.

David with the boys. Kristi was too sick to come over for pictures.

Isn't this great? James and Shannon gave this crossbow to Blake and Dylan. They wanted to take a picture with it so we told them to act out a scene and this is what we got. Not bad.

James and Shannon with Shannon's mom, Lisa. James and Shannon are staying at my folks' house, but they stayed with Lisa the week they were there. I guess they wanted to actually get some sleep. Hard to do sometimes with 2 little boys.

My mom made dinner for everyone. It was awesome seeing everyone. My uncle even made it up from San Diego. My grandma came and my aunt, uncle and cousin were there too.

Trip to CA Day 5

Saturday morning we went to the habor and went on a boat ride. My dad found a groupon for a 90 boat ride.

James and Shannon. They had moved back from Hawaii about a month earlier.

Dylan had fun.

And so did Blake.

Here is Balboa.

We looked at all the ridiculous houses and yachts. I could live in any of them.

And then the boys saw "Aquaman"...at least that is what they called him.

Then we went to a park and had lunch. After lunch we went to Corona Del Mar. We went to the same beach that my Grandma (Dad's mom) would take me and my brothers when we were younger. I don't remember the beach ever being this busy.

The crowd didn't bother the boys though. (Side note: Blake learned on this trip what traffic really is like and he doesn't like it at all). We built a sandcastle.

It had been awhile since we had been to the beach so we didn't know how the boys would like it. We know they love swimming, but the ocean is different. Well, this picture tells you...they loved it..especially Blake.

Shannon brought her boogie boards and taught Blake how to ride. He LOVED it. Dylan did it once and didn't want to do it again...but he ended up doing it a couple more times and enjoyed it.

Shannon giving Blake a high 5. It was so much fun for me to see the boys with their extended family. Those boys have a lot of family that really love them and like to have fun with them. The boys loved every moment.

On our way home, we drove by the Newport Beach Temple. It is such a pretty temple.

And since we didn't have enough water for the day, we went swimming.
