The next morning had to go in for his ultrasound. He has to be fasting. I always get the first appointment in the morning to try to make it easier on him, but the kid gets so thirsty that it is actually really hard for him to not drink water in the morning. He was a champ because he knew that when it was done, he would get a cookie. The doctor's office where we go make home made cookies. We have been there enough times that they know to not put the cookies out until Dylan is done, but they wanted to make sure he got some cookies, so they put some in a bag and handed it to him when he was done. It made his day. I was also told that I was the coolest mom because none of the other moms let their kids have a cookie in their office at 8am. How many of those kids were fasting? It is his reward and it gets him to fast. Love those cookies.
