Soccer Games

Saturday was soccer games. Blake's game was at 10:15 and it was a little chilly. He did great.

During the game I learned that Coach Michelle (from last season) had a brain tumor and just got back the day before from being in Houston for 3 weeks for her surgery. I talked with her later that day and she has a clean bill of health now. It was crazy though. She had milk but is lactose intolerant, which she knows....but it made her very sick, so she called her husband to come home from work. By the time he got there (he works super close), she was having a seizure. Took her to the hospital and found the tumor. The tumor caused the seizure. I guess it was a good thing she decided to have milk, which caused her to get sick and call her husband who came home...otherwise...yicks. Tumor was the size of a golf ball. She can't drive for 3 months. One of the boys' dads on Dylan's current team died last February of brain cancer.

We went home and had lunch and did more yard work. It was then hot for Dylan's game.

We decided that spring was now here and we wouldn't get anymore cold days. The previous Monday night we had a freeze advisory. We have really weird, inconsistent weather.

Anyway, Dylan did great and so did his team. The other team was really great too.

Coach Ryan (gray shirt) and Coach Jay (blue shirt) are in the background. They are great coaches. We had practice last night and Dylan did great. Coach Ryan was saying how much Dylan has improved. Having a great coach makes a huge difference.
