Aaron had Friday-Monday off of work. We had lots of fun. The boys helped us with yard work. Blake and Aaron mowed the lawn and Dylan and I edged the lawn. We went to Home Depot for a project and saw our friends the Halls there. We also watched Zootopia at our house.
We have been working on our summer reading program at the library. They read, but there are also different activities to do. They have done some spanish lessons (which they love), make new food, ride bikes, draw maps, science experiments, etc. (There are about 50 different things) One of the things was to do the ice bucket challenge. They were very excited about it...until they realized how cold ice is on their bodies. So Dylan put it on his foot.
But Blake dumped it on his head....and then we swam.
We also went to the movies to see The BFG. It was really slow in the beginning, but the 2nd half was good.
Sunday we skipped part of 3rd hour to go to Rylie's blessing. Rylie is Aaron's cousin, Amy's new baby. They meet in the same building as we do for church so it was super easy for us to attend and glad we were able to go. And I found out her middle name...Michelle. I approve of that name.
