Trip to CA Day 4

On Friday we went to Legoland with my folks. Now would be a great time to talk about the weather in SoCal. Yes, I miss this weather. I miss having it cool down at night. When I run early in the morning in Texas it is 80 degrees, but it was 67 in CA. It was fantastic.

My mom found a 3 day hopper pass for Legoland at Costco for less than a 1 day pass to only Legoland.

We had never been to Legoland before and we loved it. It was the perfect size theme park. Seeing all the lego creations put mine to shame for sure.

We did several roller coasters. We made a mistake and did the craziest one first and it was a little too much for Dylan so he did just the one that day.

After lunch we went over to the Aquarium, which was really cool. It was nice because it was inside.

The miniland was awesome. So cool to see these creations. They tell you how many legos they used, how much it weighs and how long it took. These things are crazy heavy.

This was a genius idea. They design the line que to go around a play area for the kids. The parents stand in line while the kids play. The play area has direct access to where you get onto the ride. Brilliant thinking.

Blake and Dylan loved driving their lego cars.  Dylan had to go on the race track for the 3-5 year olds. They do ask the kids their names. Dylan was a whole lot taller than the 5 year olds were so they kind of looked at him funny when he told them he was 4.

This was a race. It was fun and we won.

Dylan did tell Gramps that he was going to bump his boat, which he did.

We went to Costco for dinner. Loved Legoland.
