Blake's Last Day of Kindergarten

Last Thursday was Blake's last day of school. We went to his school at 12 to help with the school party. We found them at the playground...eating pizza. So here is something interesting. We were told that the kids would have a snack at the party. I talked with one of the room moms and she said that they couldn't call the pizza lunch because it wasn't nutritious enough to call it lunch, so everyone had to come to school with their own lunch, which they ate about an hour before the party so they weren't super hungry for their snack.

They then went inside and played some games. The party was a carnival theme and each Kinder classroom had a different activity. When we walked into this room, Megan was there helping out and Macie ran over and attached Blake. She was so excited to see him and was his shadow the whole time we were in that room.

Cooper was also Blake's shadow. Dylan was kind of bored and decided he needed to shake my hand while taking pictures.

We went to another classroom and there was a clown. Dylan loved it.

They went into another room and played more games. I talked with his teacher while the kids played and tried to get some info on how they pick teachers and students for the next year. Now I know the process at their school.

Blake got a batman tattoo. It was a fun party. We left Blake there at school to finish up the day because why not. We then picked him up in his actual classroom rather then the pick up area and said goodbye to his teacher. She put together a packet of work for the summer, which we hope to be diligent with.

We then went to Cherry Berry for some ice cream. Aaron was in Arkansas so he missed out. When we got home, Blake wanted to do homework and then go swimming. Here we come summer!!
