Friday was the first day of summer for us--or the first day of no school. I knew it was supposed to rain so we headed to the park in the morning. The boys played some basketball. They are going to be in a basketball camp later on in the month so I'm trying to get them a little bit prepared.
It started to rain right around lunch time so we headed home.
We finished our puzzles. Blake did some puzzles at school, once they were done with their work and he was hooked on them so we did some at home too.
That night we went over to the Stott's house to celebrate Riley's 1st birthday. Blake and Dylan love going over to play with Madison and Landon...we just call them cousins...close enough even though it is Aaron and Riley's mom, Amy who are cousins.
Amy made Riley her own cake.
Look at that smile. She is such a happy kid. Happy birthday Riley!
It poured the entire day and the entire weekend. We had a ton of rain. I think by Saturday we had reached our average rainfall for the entire month of June and it was June 3. I ran on Saturday and it was a down pour...terrible. Also a bummer because well, it is summer now, but raining so no pool time. We did go to Home Depot and help someone move on Saturday. I was able to get out of helping to set up for our Cub Scout Camp, but the poor people who did have to help.
