If you ask Dylan who his best friend is, he will list several. But if you ask him who he really wants in his class next year, he will tell you Jake. I finally connected with his mom last week and he came over yesterday to swim and play. Dylan was counting down the days. (And so was Jake). We know Jake's family because his older brother was in Blake's kinder class, although they aren't best buddies. But his mom is involved in cub scouts so I see her at all the roundtables, etc. Well, not anymore. Anyway, they swam for 2 1/2 hours, then had a snack, then jumped on the trampoline and then played upstairs. They all got along so well and I was able to get some training done that I needed to do for work. Score!
After he left, we ate dinner and then went to our last track practice. We have regionals on Friday.
