Thanksgiving day started out with our ward Turkey Bowl. Our ward forgot to show up though. We had our family, the whole Neumann family, 1 YM, and Dave Campbell and son, Caleb who is Blake's friend. So, we all had to play. The kids played their own soccer game and then later played football and then soccer with the adults.
We went home and made pies, then went over to the Neumann's. Cambria's mom and dad flew in and her brother and wife were there (who live in Dallas). It was delicious and fun to be with friends. Cambria's mom got a promotion. She works for the Church and is now the head of Church History, so I was picking her brain about what is in the vault and what she has seen. So cool.
We were sad that we weren't with any of our extended family, but so grateful that the Neumann's had us over. We love their family!
