Heard Museum

Last Wednesday, Blake's friend, Reese invited him over to his house to play. We went to drop him off and Dylan wanted to stay, so Reese's mom was super nice and thought I could use a break since Aaron has been traveling so much and sent me on my way by myself to do some shopping and let the kids play together at her house. Everyone enjoyed that! After Reese's house, then we had Cohen and Isaac over to swim. While swimming, we thought it would be a great idea to go to the Heard Museum the next day. About 3am Thursday morning, it started to rain. When it rains, it cools down a lot, so we decided to still go because it was so much cooler, knowing there would be some mud.

The mud was pretty bad on one trail, so we did the "cleanest" trail.

The boys loved running together.

Isaac loved shaking the trees to make the rain from earlier that was still on the leaves, come down.

Dylan and Blake ran up to the fox and both screamed, "What does the fox say?" Then they started to sing the song. If you don't know what song I am talking about, look it up. For some reason, the kids think this song is awesome.

The kids had a great time together. We went to the store to get some poppers for the 4th and then went to a pool party for our friends who are moving to Utah. Aaron got home right after we got home from the party. Then we realized the next morning that we shouldn't have gone to the Heard. Why? Well, I woke up with way too many bites. Chiggers are annoying. Welcome to Texas. The kids had a few, so I am glad I got it the worse, but um we won't be going there for a little bit.
