After the visit to the pier we walked to Ghirardelli to get some ice cream. We had done a lot of walking that day (20,000 steps) and the boys were tired. Dylan fell asleep and wouldn't wake up for ice cream.
This building was the only building to survive the big San Francisco in the early 1900s.
These hills are killer.
This is Fort Point. We ended up visiting it the next day after our walk across the Golden Gate Bridge. Long walk to get there, but the boys loved it.
They paint the underneath part of the bridge year long. They start on one side and work their way across. As soon as they reach the other side, they start back from the beginning. It sounds like a fun job.
This is the Saulsalito side of the bridge. There is a big difference between the two sides of the bridge.
Angel Island. The Ellis Island of the West.
This is Dylan hiding and keeping warm.
On our walk on the pier, we saw the CA Sea Lions. Not very impressive, but we saw them.
