San Francisco Day 3

Sunday morning we took a bus to church. After church, we took a bus to the Golden Gate Bridge. We got dropped off on the Saulsalito side. We stopped at the vista point to eat lunch, then we walked across. We were glad to have the stroller this day because it is 1.7 miles across. By the way, there is a toll, but only going south which is about $7 I think. They are currently trying to charge people to walk across the bridge. Ridiculous.

We were done! We got to San Francisco and the boys just wanted to run around.

Then we walked down to Fort Point. Another day of 20,000+ steps.

If you remember the picture from day 2, this fort is right underneath the bridge. This fort is large.

The gun powder room. So, several years ago we went to Tennessee for a family get together with Aaron's family. We went to a fort there. Yeah, that was so small when compared to this one...and this one is not in the middle of no where. It received a lot of recognition from engineer groups because if how it was constructed.

On our way back to the hotel, we stopped for food. Aaron went to China last summer and ate dumplings nearly ever day he was there from some famous place. Well, this restaurant in SF comes close to it....it is rated high, etc, etc. From Blake's encounter with chop sticks you can tell that we frequent Chinese restaurants. At first Blake did not want to try the dumplings.

But he did and he totally loved them. They are pricey so I wasn't sure if I really wanted him to love them.

Dylan tasted a little bit, but was too tired to care. We then got back to the hotel and Dylan ate more food. From mostly his travels last summer, Aaron has platinum status or whatever it is with Marriott, so we got into the concierge lounge. This was great because we got breakfast every morning, the kids and I would get hot chocolate and snacks  there in the afternoon and sometimes we ate dinner there....for free. We also got all our bottled water there. They loved the boys, especially one of the ladies at breakfast.
