Aaron's friend, Curt, gave us 8 tickets to Hawaiian Falls at the beginning of summer. We had plans to go in June, but then Dylan got stitches so we couldn't go then. We finally found a day. Aaron worked half a day and then we went. They charge you $15 to take food into the water park, which we knew, so we just kept snacks in the car and came out for a snack. I didn't take my phone into the park so no pictures.
When we first got to the water park, we parked the car and then this security guy came over and asked if we wanted a ride in his golf cart to the entrance...it is not a long walk at all, but we wouldn't pass up that offer. While we were cruising along guess who we saw walking? Curt...the friend who gave us the tickets. He was there for work...that place is a client of his which is how he got free tickets. What are the odds. Apparently he had been there 4 times that day.
It was fun. The boys had a blast and found some slides that they loved so we did them over and over. We were all pretty worn out by the time we got home. We pulled into the garage and it immediately started to pour. Perfect timing!
On Sunday at church they asked me if I would give a talk on the Self-reliance course that I am taking to get people excited to do it since the next round is up. Dylan gives us a talk the same day in Primary. Aaron has to give a talk for the priesthood leadership session on saturday for stake conference. Hmmmm.....Johnsons should be done for awhile after this. The funny thing is that Aaron wasn't supposed to give that talk..it was Curt, but weeks after accepting the assignment he realized that it was his son's birthday that day and they had plans.
