This morning we went to Blake's 6 month check up for his orthodontist. We have been going for awhile now waiting for him to lose enough teeth, etc. Well, today he was told that he was ready for an expander and braces--they do this at the same time. Just because of timing and schedules, we are starting the process in a couple weeks. This phase is 12-14 months. Hopefully he won't need an additional set of braces when he is 13 or so. His poor mouth is so small...his teeth are coming in in a second row...shark teeth, like what I had.
He isn't very excited and I am not excited about paying for it, but it is what it is.
Then we went to Costco and then went to the library. We finally went and checked out their name on the window--these are the kids who finished their reading program.
